I believe education needs a real change and I am really glad that during the past 10 years, as a society, we are discussing and deeply reflecting over educational issues that are affecting our future. In this sense, considering the work for the future, my distinctive revolutionary starting point is when I decided that a real change to education would be made from within the classroom environment, I believe the only real and concrete way of enriching the discussion and stimulation a fine education for the future lies in the daily job of a teacher. A teacher with his/her teaching can guide students towards transformation of nowadays reality and in order to do so, education must have an aim to it.
Many people think and also have decided that marching, striking and let their voices be hears is the most effective way of presenting problems, call upon social awareness and deepening and also, they see this atittude (striking) to be the real path to a change although they have forgotten that a plain march will not change the attitutes and beliefs of future generations. I believe striking and marching are great and profitable ways of moving people's minds but I strongly think that all the moevent does not reinforce "awakening" of society. I believe guidance is needed and for it, we have teachers and students. If both are committed to a change, they can reach it and sustain itin the future.
I believe in not too much time, tha changes will be concretely seen, but if students miss too much of their learning opportunities, I think the future will not have been constructed upon solid foundations.
I agree with you, if it wasn't for a couple of great teachers I had, I would think so different now about many important things like education.

ResponderBorrarsadly in Chile, and the world in general, if not pressed with strikes and occupations continue to exploit the dominant classes and enjoying their exploitation
ResponderBorrarThe next generation have the goal to encourage a better education, so the teachers have the opportunity for changing a individual thought that is not good for the society. The next generation must have the same rights. Is a gradual change.
